Description

MARCH 2016 Navi Roster by Higure-san

Hello, fellow internet enthusiasts!

I'm not sure if any of recall, but a few years back I held a contest for net navis to be included in my rosters. This is one was submitted by :iconsep77:. Congrats again, dude!
This is FoldMan, an origami-themed net navi. When Sep77 provided that Foldman is based on origami, I instantly decided to make his design Japanese-esque. His paper clothing is based on the Haori -- asianinspirations.com.au/asian…. Since his personality is quiet, reserved and calm I decided to choose blue as his color motif. despite having decided on his design theme, I went through a lot of chicken scratches. One concept I had was him shaped like the paper charm from Spirited Away. Then I thought maybe I could use that concept as an attack... never went through with it.
His attack "Paper Raid" has two forms: air and sea, respectively paper airplanes and paper ships. Paper is integral to my life, especially in my school life. Speaking of school life, I made a lot of those paper shurikens. I couldn't resist making one of his attacks based on that.
His facial expression doesn't change. Is he uninterested or uninteresting? ... I dunno...

Best regards,
Higure-san

If he's a paper-themed Navi, then why isn't he a wood-element Navi?
